Overview of TFL's Traditional/Litigation Services

Tailored Family Law also offers services for the traditional/litigation process. We provide legal support for clients who are in litigation or where the opposing party has hired a lawyer that is only trained in the traditional/litigation process (as opposed to collaborative process). 

Goals and Aims of the Traditional Process

In the traditional/litigation process, the attorneys and clients are on opposing sides of the case. The goal in a traditional process is typically to avoid trial by coming to agreements pretrial whenever possible. If, however, both parties are unable to come to an agreement, TFL’s aim is proceed in court to achieve the best possible result for our client.

Client Information and Strategy Collaboration

In the traditional/litigation process, we provide detailed information about each client’s case so the client has a working knowledge of the issues in their case. We involve our clients in strategy calls and make sure they have all the information needed to make informed decisions.

Comprehensive Representation by TFL

Tailored Family Law’s representation in the traditional process also involves coaching our clients as needed throughout their case and even after their case is closed, if necessary. This includes assisting clients in communicating with their co-parent/spouse in a productive way, helping the client understand what behavior changes need to be made to improve their chances in court, and otherwise navigating the process and any issues that may come up.
